Garden Shoes for Baby

Both booties really are the same size, I promise!

Pattern: Garden Shoes designed by Stella Smith in Simply Knitting Magazine, Oct. 2006, Issue 7.
Yarn: Louisa Harding Kimono Angora (1 ball) in the brown/cream/orange/gray pathway.
For: Niece R. (given at baby shower)
Made Dec. 2006
****************

The blue pair here are made from Berroco suede yarn.
These booties are both the same size, too -- I should be more
careful how I take my pictures! These were made for a friend of my daughter who had a baby last year.

MsBlondie does Amigurumi

My first attempt at amigurumi. It was fun, but I used too fat of yarn (Lion Brand worsted), so it's kind of hole-y, and also turned out too big. I later read that the cheapest and finer gauge yarn works much better!

I'll definitely try some more of these toys.
Pattern is from the "Mini-doggie pattern" by Haakpoes, and mine isn't nearly as cute. Link to free pattern is:

Patons V-Neck Vest on Models

Here is my cute mum in the vest, which fit her much better than me. It might be a little itchy, but she said with the turtleneck underneath it was okay.

Two-Tone Shrug is Finished

A very serious model in the two-tone shrug from Glampyre's Fitted Knits.
It was actually finished back in June, but I'm such a procrastinator, and didn't get it posted until now.
Yarn: Berrocco's Love It!
Size: Small, and it is really too small. It will be given to a smaller recipient for Christmas!
Comments: It was fairly easy, just didn't enoy the ribbing too much since I throw my yarn with my right hand and it goes much slower. I'm making another one, bigger (went up a pattern size and up a needle size) in the same colors.
